The classification of the PVC additives

Additives are indispensable raw materials in the production of PVC plastics, which are determined by the inherent characteristics of PVC resin. PVC additives are divided into process additives and functional additives.
Process additives are necessary for the plastic molding process to proceed. For example, stabilizers and lubricants in the production of hard PVC plastics cannot be processed without process additives.
Functional additives give plastics certain functionality or improve certain properties of PVC plastics. For example, the impact toughness can be improved by the use of impact modifier.
