【Features of PVC Tent Glue】
● PVC tent glue is a soft polyvinyl chloride (PVC) special glue made from a variety of imported special polymer materials and added with a reinforcement system;
● PVC tent glue is single-component, high-strength, high-performance, good flexibility, easy to use, and can effectively prevent the migration of plasticizers for good adhesion;
● It has the properties of waterproof, heat resistance, cold resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance and no whitening;
● Used for self-adhesive and mutual adhesion of PU, EVA, ABS, AS, PC, rubber and other materials.
● It has passed the EU ROHS standard and is currently one of the ideal adhesives for bonding soft polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
[Scope of application of PVC tent glue]
● PVC tent glue is widely used in bonding and repairing crafts, soft toys, PVC conveyor belts, PVC trampolines, PVC waterproof clothes, PVC inflatable toys, etc.
[Using method of PVC tent glue]
● Remove the oil stains on the surface of the adherend, if necessary, scrub with acetone,
● Uniformly apply glue on one side or both sides and leave it in the air for 5-15 minutes to bond and compact, so that it will be in close contact, and it will have a certain strength immediately and can be used after 24 hours.
Warm reminder: If you need to improve the bonding strength and temperature resistance, you can pre-coat the surface of the substrate with a treatment agent, and then add about 5-8% of the curing agent to the glue to fully mix it, its bonding strength and temperature resistance The performance is significantly improved, such as thermal activation at 60-75°C for 5-8 minutes and then the effect is better. The glue with the curing agent must be used up within 12 hours.
[Precautions for PVC tent glue]
●PVC tent glue is flammable. It should be stored in a cool and ventilated place. It must be stored and transported in accordance with the rules for flammables.
●Pay attention to ventilation and prevent open flame contact during use. The glue should be covered at any time after use to prevent the solvent from evaporating.
●If the viscosity of the glue is too high, it can be diluted with ethyl acetate or acetone.
